in the Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Ashe County is located in the very Northwestern corner of the state. We are 23 miles from Boone and 14 miles from West Jefferson in NC, and 17 miles from Mountain City, TN. We are 1 1/2 hours from Tri-Cities airport at Bristol, TN.
